The Welch® DryFast® is lightweight, with a control knob ergonomically easy to use, front and center of the pump. The Welch 2042 is an excellent pump for evaporation high boiling point solvents, such as DMF. Contact your Chemtech Scientific representative for best practices and set up information.
Welch Dryfast Vacuum Pump - We highly recommend PTFE diaphragm pumps. PTFE diaphragm pumps are super chemically resistant and do not backstream PTFE dust into the process/product.
The Welch 2042C-02 DryFast is a powerful, oil-free PTFE diaphragm vacuum pump that delivers tunable vacuum control down to 1 Torr. Its chemically resistant design makes it ideal for aggressive solvents, high-boiling-point compounds like DMF, and other demanding chemical applications.
