Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

Chemtech Scientific accepts the following payment methods:

  • Major Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
  • Purchase Orders (Net 30 terms available for approved accounts)
  • Bank Transfers / ACH / Wire Payments

For businesses, universities, government, and research institutions: We offer Net 30 payment terms upon credit approval. Simply send us your purchase order and we’ll process your order quickly.

Where is my refund?

We process refunds as quickly as possible. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Credit Card refunds are typically issued within 3–5 business days after we approve your return.
  • Bank wire or ACH refunds may take 5–7 business days to appear in your account.
  • Once your refund has been issued, you will receive a confirmation email with details.

How to check the status of your refund:

  1. Check the email address associated with your order for a refund confirmation.
  2. Log into your payment method (credit card) to see if the credit has posted.
  3. If it has been more than 7 business days and you haven’t received confirmation, please contact us.

Need help? Reply to your original order confirmation email or contact our team at support@chemtechsci.com with your order number. We’ll check the status and get back to you promptly.

Ordering and delivery

Can I place an order without creating an account?

Yes, you can place an order as a guest without creating an account.

When you proceed to checkout, simply select the “Guest Checkout” or “Continue as Guest” option. You’ll still be able to:

  • Enter your shipping and billing information
  • Complete your purchase securely
  • Receive order confirmation and tracking details

Benefits of creating an account (optional):

  • Faster future checkouts
  • Save multiple shipping addresses
  • Track order history easily
  • Access to special pricing or quotes (for approved accounts)

We respect your privacy and only ask for the information needed to process your order.

Where is my order confirmation?

You should have received your Order Confirmation email shortly after placing your order.

Here’s what to check:

  • Primary Inbox – Look for an email from alla@chemtechsci.com 
  • Spam / Junk Folder – Sometimes it lands there
  • Promotions / Updates Tab (especially if using Gmail)

The email contains:

  • Your Order Number
  • Items ordered
  • Shipping address
  • Estimated delivery date (if applicable)

Still don’t see it?

Please contact us at support@chemtechsci.com with your Order Number (if you have it), and we’ll immediately resend your confirmation and provide a status update.

Why has my order been canceled?

We apologize if your order was canceled. Here are the most common reasons this can happen:

  • Payment Declined or Failed – Your card was declined, had insufficient funds, or didn’t pass our fraud protection check.
  • Item Out of Stock – The product was no longer available when we processed your order.
  • Address Verification Issue – We couldn’t verify the shipping or billing address.
  • Duplicate or Suspicious Order – Our system flagged the order for security reasons.
  • Customer Request – You (or someone from your team) requested cancellation.

What should you do next?

  1. Check your email (including spam/junk folder) for a cancellation notice with the specific reason.
  2. Reply to that email or contact us at support@chemtechsci.com with your Order Number.
  3. We’ll explain exactly why it was canceled and help you place a new order quickly if needed.

Most cancellations can be resolved or reprocessed the same day.

How do I cancel my order?

You can request to cancel your order by contacting us as soon as possible. The sooner you reach out, the higher the chance we can successfully cancel it before it ships.

How to Cancel:

  1. Reply directly to your Order Confirmation email (fastest method)
  2. Or email us at support@chemtechsci.com
  3. Include your Order Number in the subject line or body

Example Subject Line: Cancellation Request – Order #12345

Please provide:

  • Your Order Number
  • Reason for cancellation 

Important Notes:

  • Orders canceled before shipping are usually processed without issue.
  • Once the order has shipped, cancellation is no longer possible. 
  • You will receive a confirmation email once the cancellation is processed.

Can I alter my order?

Yes, you can request changes to your order as long as it has not yet shipped.

What You Can Typically Change:

  • Shipping address
  • Quantity of items
  • Add or remove items (if still in stock)
  • Payment method (in some cases)

How to Alter Your Order:

  1. Reply directly to your Order Confirmation email (fastest)
  2. Or email us at support@chemtechsci.com
  3. Include your Order Number in the subject line

Example Subject Line: Change Request – Order #12345

Please let us know exactly what changes you need, and we’ll confirm if it’s still possible.

Important Notes:

  • The sooner you contact us, the better the chance we can make the changes.
  • Once your order has been processed and shipped, alterations are no longer possible.

We’ll respond to your request as quickly as possible — usually within a few hours during business days.

When will my order arrive?

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking number as soon as your order leaves the warehouse.

To check your order status:

  1. Check your email for the shipping confirmation
  2. Log into your account on our website and view your orders
  3. Or reply to your order confirmation email

Need a faster delivery? Let us know your deadline when placing the order or reply to your confirmation email — we’ll do our best to accommodate rush requests.

What countries do you ship to?

We ship to addresses in the United States and Canada. International customers are responsible for any customs duties and taxes. Contact us for a shipping quote to your location.

How much is shipping?

Shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on weight, destination, and selected method. You will see the exact amount before placing your order. For a quote, contact support@chemtechsci.com with your items and shipping address.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can also log into your account and view tracking under My Orders.

Returns

Can I return or exchange an item?

Returns

All sales are final. However, in some cases returns may be permitted. No Products will be accepted for return without prior written approval and unless accompanied by a properly authorized “Return Authorization Request”.

Return freight must be prepaid. For non-special and non-custom Products accepted for return, a credit will be issued at the price invoiced, from which will be deducted the expense for return transportation (if not prepaid) and a minimum restocking charge of 15% of the invoice value.

Special or custom-made Products, including units that are modified from standard units, cannot be returned for credit.

Please examine your purchased item upon receipt. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Special order of engineered products may not be eligible for return or may be subject to a 30% return fee.

Items placed into operation (used) are exempt and can not be returned or refunded.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Items not eligible for return are:

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Cancellations

Cancellations of products are accepted. Cancellations are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Once shipped, cancellations are subject to any shipping fees associated with the order. Credit card fees will not be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

Your item may be eligible for an exchange, if your item has not been used. Please contact us for assistance to exchange an item at http://www.chemtechsci.com/pages/contact-us

Shipping

To return your product, you should contact Chemtech Scientific for instructions for the return of your item at http://www.chemtechsci.com/pages/contact-us

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you are located, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

What do I do if I lose my return note?

No problem — we can easily help you!

What to Do:

  1. Email us immediately at support@chemtechsci.com
  2. Include the following information:
    • Your Order Number
    • The item(s) you wish to return
    • Reason for return
  3. We will resend your RMA number and return instructions right away.

Tip: Always keep a copy of your RMA number for your records. You can also find it in any previous email correspondence about your return.

We understand things can get misplaced and will be happy to reissue your return authorization quickly so you can proceed with the return without delay.

My order has arrived but it’s not as I expected. What can I do?

We’re sorry to hear the order wasn’t what you expected. You have options:

What You Can Do:

  1. Contact Us Right Away Email support@chemtechsci.com or reply to your original order confirmation email.
  2. Tell Us What Happened Please include:
    • Your Order Number
    • A description or photo of the issue (wrong item, damaged, not as described, etc.)
    • What you were expecting
  3. We Will Help You Depending on the situation, we can:
    • Arrange a return or exchange
    • Offer a partial refund
    • Send a replacement item (if available)
    • Provide other solutions

Important Notes:

  • Please do not return the item before receiving an RMA number from us.
  • Returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery.
  • We will respond to your message as quickly as possible (usually within a few hours during business days).
