The nXDS version offer increased pumping speeds combined with lower ultimate pressures, lower power consumption and lower noise. Gast ballast allows for pumping of condensable vapours including water, solvents, dilute acids and bases. nXDS pumps give longer life between tip seal changes.

The nXDS-C pump is a modified version of the nXDS that is suitable for use on vapour handling processes, and may be used for some pumping applications involving corrosive substances. The nXDS-C variants have Chemraz® internal valves and stainless steel fittings for extra protection from the pumped media.
