Either a standard duty pump or chemical duty pump below will provide the correct vacuum and flow/pumping speed to preform your process seamlessly and provide excellent system performance to the process operators. However the difference is a standard pump will fail prematurely and warranty will be void, if the pumps are exposed to organic, acid, base or otherwise corrosive vapors. Vapors containing components of the mixture will make their way to the vacuum pump wetted parts, even if they are not evaporated. For pure aqueous solutions, the standard duty pumps are recommended, but if any chemistry will make up the mixture, a chemical duty pump must be used for this process.
