Vacuum Pump Oil

Vacuum Pump Oil is a high-quality, specially formulated lubricant designed for rotary vane vacuum pumps (Edwards, Welch, Leybold, and others). It provides excellent sealing, lubrication, and cooling while maintaining low vapor pressure for achieving deep vacuum levels.

Using the correct vacuum pump oil is critical for pump performance, longevity, and preventing contamination. High-grade oils resist oxidation, minimize sludge formation, and offer superior water vapor tolerance.

Key Benefits:

  • Low vapor pressure for better ultimate vacuum
  • Excellent thermal stability and oxidation resistance
  • Superior lubrication to reduce wear on vanes and bearings
  • High moisture tolerance with gas ballast operation
  • Extends pump life and service intervals

Available Grades:

  • Standard mineral-based vacuum pump oil (e.g., Edwards Ultragrade 19, Welch Directorr)
  • Synthetic oils for higher temperature or demanding applications
  • PFPE oils (Fomblin® / Krytox®) for corrosive and aggressive chemical environments
